Sometimes you use what you have, this is an oil painting I'm working on from a sketch that I did Pleine air from the banks of the Delaware River in Riverton NJ. I was visiting my mother for a short stay, and my Uncle invited me out the river with him while he worked "Plein air". The only material he had for me was some colored pencils, which was a first for me.
